Ratings for KBS' baking drama "Bread, Love and Dreams" continued to rise, holding onto its reign on Wednesday and Thursday night primetime lineups for the 12th consecutive week.

Figures from TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Friday revealed that "Bread," with only six episodes left, saw its viewership ratings increase by an average half a percent compared to the previous week, with ratings of 44.1 percent on August 25 and 44.7 percent the next day.

Data released by AGB Media Research reported that the No. 1 show in the country raked in ratings of 43.6 percent on Wednesday but saw a slight decrease of 1.7 percent on Thursday night.

This week's episode focused on how Tak-koo (Yoon Si-yoon) returns home for the first time in 14 years after hearing about Gu Il-joong's (Jeon Kwang-ryul) stroke and how Tak-koo will be taking over the business.

Lee Seung-gi and Shin Min-ah starrer SBS' "My Girlfriend is Gumiho," into its sixth episode, placed second, maintaining steady ratings in the 11 to low-14 percentile mark on both polls.

Meanwhile, MBC's war epic "Road No. 1," starring Hallyu star So Ji-sub, Kim Ha-neul and Yoon Kye-sang, ended its two-month long run last night with ratings in the 5 percent range on both TNmS and AGB's charts.
