f(x) not making comeback to music scene in Nov

Five-member girl group f(x) will not be making a comeback to the local music scene this month, according to their agency SM Entertainment on Monday.

The remark came from an official at the top talent agency who denied reports from earlier in the day saying that the girls will release a new album within November, and without member Amber.

"Reports saying that f(x) will make a comeback are not true. Nothing has been set as of yet," the official affirmed.

She then added, "Amber is currently in the United States to rest her ankle. She is not leaving the group."

Rumors of Amber, the 18-year-old rapper of f(x), departing the group have been circulating amongst fans and the media for months now after being out of the public's eye since promoting the group's latest album "NU ABO" in May.

f(x), also composed of Sulli, Krystal, Luna and Victoria, have been one of the most popular girl groups in the country since their debut last year with single "LA chA TA."
