BEAST ranks at No. 6 on Oricon chart with Japanese album

Korean idols BEAST have entered Japan's prestigious Oricon chart with their first album in the country.

The group's first Japanese album "BEAST-Japan Premium Edition," which was released yesterday, came in at No. 6 on the daily Oricon chart as of Monday.

"BEAST-Japan Premium Edition" is composed of a special CD and DVD that features a never-before-seen video of the members.

The boys will officially kick off their activities in the country with a showcase in Tokyo on November 27.

BEAST, composed of members Du-jun, Hyun-seung, Dong-woon, Gi-kwang, Yo-seop and Jun-hyung, made their debut in October 2009 with their first mini-album "BEAST IS THE B2ST."

The boys recently returned to the local music scene with their new album "Lights Go On Again" and have been promoting its title track "Beautiful" which has topped various online music charts since its release in early November.

They are also preparing for their first concert "WELCOME TO BEAST AIRLINE" which will be held next month.
